Summary
Jamyang Tashi Dorje Rinpoché is the Founder and Director of the Sakya Tashi communities in Spain and Latin America and a disciple of His Highness Sakya Trizin and other great masters of the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, as well as great Buddhist Masters from other school such as His Highness The Dalai Lama.
Lama means spiritual master in the Tibetan language. That is why for more than 20 years Rinpoché has dedicated his life to the creation of spaces and conditions which are suitable for the transmission of Buddhist teaching, as a means of increasing happiness and peace among beings.
Ever open to the need and problems of his social environment, in 2004 he established the Foundation for the Conservation of Internal Values (PREVAIN) which organises the social, cultural and educational activities of the Sakya Tashi Ling Community.
He currently lives in the Ladrang Sakya Tashi Ling Monastery (An annexe to the Plana Novella Palace - “Garraf Natural Park”).
